Charlie Ross:Lead, baritone, tenor, bass vocals, guitar

Charlie's voice is one of those that makes you just stop and listen, wondering if it's a CD you are hearing or a live performance. His versatility and singing range have helped the band to expand their vocal harmony from two, to three, and even four part. He sings a variety of different styles, including country, jazz, and swing, and plays the trumpet in a local big band called Blue Yesterday. Charlie's solid rythym guitar playing helps hold the band together, and he even adds an occasional lead line here and there to spice things up!
Charlie is also another Baker City resident.

Mark Norenberg:Guitar, vocals

Mark sings lead and play rythym guitar. Mark's background has been more of a country style Gospel, but he has picked up the bluegrass style well, and his flatpicking and guitar runs give the band a great bluegrass flavor. Mark and his wife Cindy reside in the beautiful mountain town of Granite.

Terry Miller: Banjo, Tenor vocals

Terry Miller is the banjo player for Jordan's Crossing. He provides the classic sound of the banjo, along with the "high and lonesome tenor harmony" that is so distinct in bluegrass music. He always has a smile for the audience and usually shares a joke or two with them, especially if someone has to tune their instrument. Terry met Jon a week after Jon moved to Baker City. They were playing some worship music together with a long time mutual friend, when Jon discovered that Terry loved playing bluegrass and had a desire to put a Gospel bluegrass band together too. Terry, his wife Julie, and son Nathan are long time residents of Baker City.

Jon Clement: Mandolin, vocals

Jon Clement plays mandolin and sings lead and baritone in the group. He met Terry, Ken, Nathan, and Gene at a local bluegrass jam soon after moving to Baker. When he shared the prayer he had for several years about starting a Gospel bluegrass group, the guys got all fired up about it and started meeting to share songs, and see what the Lord would do with the group. Jon has been playing mandolin since 1984, beginning with fiddle tunes, bluegrass, then expanding into several styles, including Celtic, Latin, Swing, and even adding rythym and fills in worship sets from time to time.

Jon and his wife Leanne live in Baker City. Leanne once said that Jon was "spreading the plague of bluegrass in Baker Valley". Jon maintained that he was merely "helping the germs get organized". You can read about Jon and Leanne by going to www.clementjonleanne.blogspot.com

The Farmers Market provided a venue to share our music with folks browsing through the goods for sale by local growers.

    STATEMENT OF FAITH

    We believe:

    1. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son(Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Distinguishable, distinct, but indivisible. (Gen. 1:2,26, Deut 6:4, 1 kings 8:60, Psa. 86:8 , Is 44:6 Mat. 28:19, Jn. 4:24, 1 Pet. 1:2).

    2. The Holy Bible is the only infallible and authoritative written word of God (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:21)

    3. In the full diety of Jesus Christ; that he was fully God and fully man.
    (Jn. 1:1, 1:14, 20:28, 10:33, Heb 1:8)

    4. That Jesus died on the cross and three days later rose from the dead, His complete and finshed work on the cross by His blood secured the salvation of all who come to Him by faith (Jn 1:12, 3:16, 14:6, 1 Jn 5:11-13)

    5. That Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless; bore the sins of the world at his death on the cross, and completely paid for the sins of all those who put their trust in Him as Savior. (Luk. 1:26-35; Heb. 9:12-15, 28; 10:11,12; 2 Cor. 5:21)

    6. That to enter heaven, a person must recieve Jesus Christ as Savior and be born again, that there is nothing a person can do to receive eternal life, but trust in the finished work of Christ. (John 3:7, 16, Eph 2:8,9, John 6:28,29).
